I am a children’s author, currently working on my first adult's non fiction, a public speaker and co-founder of The Feminist Shop - an ethical brand that educates on the topic of feminism.
Gender equality is at the very core of everything I get involved in and has become an essential part of who I am, which is funny because not that long ago I refused to identify as a feminist.
Multilingual and with 8 years of experience both in big corporate and small international companies, after my second child I decided to put my skills into something that could make a real positive change. I love public speaking (and speaking in general) and challenging kids and adults to unlearn constrictive stereotypes.
My book Mika & Lolo is translated in 5 languages and it's one of the reasons for having been recognised as one of the145 Inspiring Women Leaders of 2020 by Diverse In Globaland. My vision of creating an impactful ethical business won me an award as one of the Top 100 UK #iAlso f:Entrepreneur 2020 confirming the need of more voices challenging the way we do things in an impactful way.
I have degree in Law and a degree in Business and a master's in Leadership and Business Administration.
I am native Spanish speaker, fluent in English and Italian and have a good level of French.
I have 4 years of experience in Deloitte Madrid and a year in PwC Northern Ireland, plus a further 4 years working in international businesses.
My book is part of the curriculum in four different schools in Spain, of which one is ranked in the top10 school in Spain.
I Volunteer my time, skills and experience in different associations: Breastival, The Homeless Period Belfast, Another World, Still I Rise Story Telling, the 343, Homeplus, and Breast Feeding peer supporter for the NHS.
